didn't answer and just looked this up... great.

Called my Skype number which is known only to friends and family. I declined the call and then Googled the number.

Keeps calling my son's prepaid cell phone. Do these people have a life? I mean a prepaid cell?

i get a call from 877-648-0958 every other day and it is a credit card agency and i am 16 and have no credit cards so ya i think that it is a scam and something that needs to stop

They called me. I didn't answer. They did leave a message and it was part of the recording meant for when someone picks up the phone.

i got the call and i didnt picked up. i googled it and it turns out the call was a false creditcard agency... umm im 14 and currently have no credit cards.

If everyone complaining here would spend the same time & energy on the FTC's complaint page, these people would learn that it is illegal to make unsolicited pre-recorded calls to cell phones, & would follow that car warranty company into oblivion.
Don't feel guilty about bringing Uncle Sam down on them. If they were trying to make an honest dollar, they'd try harder to treat consumers respectfully.

Got a call from 877 648 0958 on my MagicJack line also. Did not pick up and glad I didn't. Sounds like a scam!

This call came on my cell phone. There was an automated voice for you to select 1 to speak to a representative, or 2 to be removed. I selected 1 and she came on talking about how much she could help me, and how they only want to help people where reducing their interest rates would give a certain percentage reduction quickly. She said that they wouldn't effect my credit to lower them and that it was somehow like a loan. She said that she had to have my credit card number to verify the amount that was owed and then she would transfer me to a financial rep to work out the details. I kept asking her specifics and she couln't tell me. Hopefully (I doubt it), after wasting so much of her time and not doing what she wanted I won't get called again.

Got a call on my Magic-Jack number. No response to my answer. Must be ramdom dialer.

Recv'd call from this # on our home ph, I didn't pk up; they left no message. I used *60 to Call Block them in the future.

Call came from 877-648-0958 to my cell phone and I have no idea what it was cause it was in spanish. This is 4th call. It is also happening to other cells on my cell plan. When calling back--We're sorry call can not be completed as dialed, please check your number and dial again.

This number called Verizon cell in Windham NH and it seems it came from a Toll Free US/Canada Landline. I did not pick up. Only a few people know my cell phone # that I have had for many years. When I called it back I got a "this number is not working message". Do these guys work from inside Verizon to get people's cell phone #'s or is this just dumb programming luck?

Press one & mess with these a-holes. I asked the dude if he liked having sex then he should go phuck himself.

As somebody else posted, "If you have unlimited free minutes, waste their precious time." This is so true... Time is money. If you have free time to waste then they are not calling other people while you keep them tied up.
Anyway, the woman asks, "what's your highest interest rate" to which I replied "14%" and she then says "are your cards maxed out?" I replied, "yes" and she says, "OK thank you" and hangs up!!!

Thought for sure I set the bait but oh well.

just got this call too, it is purely scamming, and fake company, when tried to call back "the number you have dialed is not in service "

Automated call regarding cheap medical coverage. Pressed 1 to figure out how this automated call came to my cell phone, as this is illegal. Asked to know name of name of company that was doing this marketing. Person seemed skilled and well scripted, but gave me name of a fake company, for which he would not provide any contact info. Googled this to learn it is a scam.

I just came in from work to see 1 missed call on my caller ID to my home phone. I just got this number about 3 weeks ago and it is unlisted. I looked it up in reverse look up on whitepages.com and found no match, then I googled it and saw all this. The difference is everybody else is getting calls to their cell phones. Seems like I am the only one so far that was called at home. I am not calling the number back and my answering machine is not set up yet. GOOD!

These scammers are calling all cell phone numbers claiming they can help with credit card debt.

If you have unlimited free minutes, waste their precious time by discussing the product with them for 10 minutes, but do not give them *any* of your personal info, unless you enjoy being a victim of identity theft!

No one answered after pressing 2, just hangup.

missed call on cell phone, no message, called back from land line and a recording comes on "we're sorry your call cannot be completed as dialed . . . " made sure I dialed correctly and same thing happened

I got the same thing. This one was about some reverse mortgage Gov. Stimulus Package.

Called asking about medical coverage, when I ask the Ignorant bastard to stop calling his reply was "Ain't Gonna Happen"
Maybe when a senator gets called this will stop like the phony warranty calls

I also got this call on my cell... didnt answer. I pretty much dont answer unless its a local number or a known caller. Then I google the number & found all these posts... scammers suck.

Recorded voice called my work cell phone (government agency) about my Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, or American Express card. No cards are associated with this phone. Similar to other calls I've received on other phones. I hung up.

I just got this call few minutes ago...so therefore I am posting this same post in several places.

It is a spam call regarding credit card service-but I remember reading somewhere within the last week they are a fraud.

Anyhoo, they called my 10 yr old's cell phone, so I pressed "1" was transfered to a person and when I said "Please remove this number it belongs to my 10 year old-" They just abruptly hung up. Rude, rude, rude!

So obviously this is a spam call because my 10 yr old has no credit card and also, his number was NEVER given as a contact number for any of my cards.

Next time if I do happen to answer or if you do, tell them to enjoy their job for the time being before the company is closed down. I read that the car warranty spam was shut down recently. What a pain these people bother us by cell phone...well, either way in due time they will be jobless!!

This number's been calling my cell number several times a day to tell me about my credit cards and how I can lower my interest rates. I don't HAVE any credit cards. I've pressed the button to be removed from the list several times. When I press the button to speak with a representative the line simply goes dead. If I let it ring the same automated message is recorded onto my machine.

Third or fourth time reveived call from this number. I never answer, but get recorded message. One choice is to press 2 to be taken off list. Doesn't seem to work...likely caller can not count past 1.

Recorded message about "your Visa, Mastercard or American Express", "your credit card", "your lendor", blah blah blah. If they don't even know which card you have...uhh...

Got a recorded call in Spanish to my Razr that just got switched over to Cricket yesterday.

I know enough spanish to hang up.
