definately something sketchy about this number/service. i responded directly to a craigslist job posting with my cover letter and resume only to get a return email telling me to "apply online" and "follow the link below". i followed the link and they asked for even less information than i volunteered to the hiring company in the first place. notice you HAVE to check the box that allows them to "text you about job notices where standard messaging rates apply." the only other option is to recieve notice by standard mail! unreal, they either want your phone number or your physical address, not your email. that alone should tell you this is no good. f*ck these people trying to take advantage of job seekers!!!!

I find it suspicious that a company would use a third party service instead of calling directly.

I had started applying to a receptionist job, but stopped because the person I contacted would not give me any information about the company, even basics such as company, type of business, etc. They sent me a text this morning asking to call that number, I immediately replied with STOP to no longer receive them.

Texted me and asked me to call about a construction job I had applied for.

3rd Party employment application verification service. After applying for a job at an on-line site (Monster, Yahoo Jobs, etc.) they call and verify your information before passing it on to employers with positions.
