please kill this number completly it is a pain with calls every hour. if you look it up in google there is nothing bout complaints about this number.

I have had 11 calls in a 24 hour period.

UPDATE: I have some information to share with you that may be helpful.
Been getting calls hourly as well from this number, same complaint as the rest of you...so i did some research...
These calls are and overseas scam operation. Basically it's an Auto Dialing Program that is being used in conjunction with Spoof Number App. using a throwaway pay as you go cell phone, the kind of phones you use buying those minutes cards and don't have an actual carrier. Basically pretty impossible to track. The number they are calling from is basically a hijacked number that is being spoofed.
The purpose of the calls is to try to get as much info as they can about you using a computer trace software. The information is then used for all kinds of things, like, scams, robocalls and trying to actually use your phone number as a spoof number. Pretty scary stuff. However, if you answer the next call quickly start pressing the numbers buttons on your keypad. This jams up the software and tricks it into thinking it has reached a fax line or Internet line. Calls atleast 5 times a day, doesn't leave a voicemail and if you call back the number is no longer in service. It does say its a Verizon number but that's it. ANNOYING!!!!!!!!

I am receiving calls from this phone number several times a day. There is never a message left, and when I call the number back it says the phone number has been changed or disconnected.

I AM 16 AND HAVE NO DEBT I DONT HAVE ANY OTHER MYSTERIOUS CALLS BUT THIS ONE STARTED 2 WEEKS AGO AND SINCE THEN I HAVE GOTTEN 3,108 CALLS THIS IS BULL SHIT.

PLEASE MAKE IT STOP

this is really annoying. they called once every hour! I have my phone company blocked this number. what else can we do??? they keep on doing similar things around for two years already.

couldnt get to phone fast enough, i have family in this specific area code, so i called back not 5 minutes later and the phone number has myseriously been disconnected

I found this call on my caller I.D. today. I wasn't home so didn't answer and no voice mail. I just not googled it and found this site. Hopefully we are not spammed by calls like ya'll have been reporting :( We are not in debt and have never been so this cannot be a debt collector.

My guess is it's a telemarketer of some sort and maybe the only "lucky" people that get to talk to them is the first person to pick up their mass phone call. (Telemarketing firms dial many numbers at once and only the first person to pick up actually talks to someone. Otherwise, it seems as though you've been hung up on or that no one is there).

They are still at it. Dialed at 11:40 p.m. EST tonight. What will it take to stop this crap?

Don't waste time calling them back/report (caller Id is almost certainly faked; very easy to do).
If they answer, don't get angry, instead waste THeir time. This is the only technique that actually works. And it can be fun too! :) Say anything you can to fool them into staying on hold (this is the fun part;) say something like "my partner is the internet manager, and he/she just walked in the room, can you hold while I get them?" Then lay the phone down and ignore them :) They will keep asking "are you there?" eventually they realize that you waste their time toooo much :)

Called 11:28 EDT. I did NOT answer. I called the no., Verizon message states no longer a valid no.

Please take action against this phone number as they keep caling me at 484-893-6773 (my work number) and hang up....when I try to call it back it is a non-existing number -- it doesn't ring.... it's a harassing situation receiving these calls!!!! Thank you for your assistance.

I have been receiving calls for this number for the past few days. Every time this person calls it is the same as you all have reported. I have filed two complaints with the FCC today and every time this person calls I will continue to file a complaint until the FCC gets sick of me. I also filed a complaint with my local Attorney Generals Office. I will file with them every time this number calls as well. The form for the FCC is 1088 and the phone number for the Washington State Attorney generals Office is: 1-800-551-4636.I have also called Verizon who claims I can pay for a block. Honestly who does not think this is a phone company doing this. I have no caller i.d. but I star 69. This costs me every time. How many people star 69 or equivalent? How much money does ATT make when we all star 69 this number which supposedly does not exist? ATT will tell you to pay for a block as well. How much money are they making on people redoing their phone plans? Disclaimer:These are my thought and opinions alone( I am exercising my freedom of speech) Att or any other phone provider may not be responsible.I make these thoughts available to you with inductive strength. All of our premises are true and my conclusion is likely.(I think corruption)Honestly how does this one phone number get to harass the masses for over two years? You all may wish to be as pro-active as I am going to be. Keep filing a complaint for every call. Someone will get tired of all our complaints flooding the FCC; they will have no choice but to stop this.

they call and hang up

WE have been threatened by caller over and over again! sometimes no one and NOW???? they threaten me. Police said to install an automatic-ring-recorder. did you know that it records them ,even before you or your answer machine picks-up? We have relatives in that area of CA. If the men find out who it is harrassing us.... I pity THEM!

This number has called me at least 5 times today. They do not leave a message, and they hang up when I answer. Call times range from 5pm-1am so far. This needs to stop.

Call started ringing on my cell phone on Saturday, about once an hour. They stop before 9:00 p.m. and then resume again around 6:30 a.m. the next day. It is Tuesday and they are continuing to call about once an hour. I have not answered the call, but the caller does not leave a message and the call does not ring long enough for my voice mail to answer.

More calls than I can bother to count in since 3/5/10 at 2:46 pm. They call about once an hour. I turned my phone off for 24 hours in hopes that my number was removed from their list, but it didn't work.

Filed reports with the FCC, contacted Verizon (they have no record of this number), contacted the police (can't do anything unless the person is trying to defraud me), contacted the DA (they don't see it as an issue), contacted AT&T (my provider) and was told the only option was to change my phone number.

I've never been involved with a debt collection agency and I'm on the DNC list. Clearly nothing works!

My phone rings at all hours. If I answer they hang up. If I let it go to voice mail they hang up. When I call the number a recording say Welcome to Verizon the number you called has been changed,disconnected or not longer in service.

Started getting calls this week from 310-29-5382 California ID. When I answer it is just a hang up. Saw that there were many, many reports of this number and not sure how the telephone companies can let this continue. Thanks for all your input.

#310-429-5382 they have called us three times at least in the last two days. When we answer no one speaks and they hang up. Not only that but they call at odd and inconvient times.

This number called me at 5:40 am. I did not recognize the number and now have found out exactly how annoying the person/telemarketer is. I did answer the first one and no one was there...

When I answer the number 310-429-5382 that calls on my cell - no one answers and does not leave a voicemail. I get calls all during the day and night from this number and I want it to stop.

Got a call from this number at 10:41am. This was hopefully the first and only call. I have only had my phone number for a few months and the person who owned the number before me obviously changed it because he had debt collectors up his butt.... now they call me asking for him! Figure this may be connected to that?

Called me at 9:48pm. When I said "hello" it disconnected. My number is UNLISTED and on the DO NOT CALL LIST!

I hope this doesn't become a habit because I have better things to do.

The pricks are calling me now, 20 times in the last 24 hours... this sh@#%$ is rediculous...is this some kind of voice recognition technology attempting to file our voices? Verizon, aren't they the ones found to be guilty of listening by wire tapping and never convicted??? hmmm... bastards...

have gotten 4 calls from this number in the last 2 hours. never anyone on the other line. when i call back i get an error tone.

I started recieving these calls yesterday afternoon. Seems like every hour and ten minutes for a few hours. I tried to call back and it answered but noone was there. It clicks a bit like it's a computer call. I haven't had any issue with debt collectors in years so I'm not sure if there is a link.

In summary:

No one knows who or what these folks are up to although it is likely they have something to do with Debt Collectors or telemarketing. The FCC and phone companies have been of no help. Do not call the number back. Probably the only way to stop them is get call blocking and block the number or change your phone number. I just added blocking and am enjoying my first day of quiet.

Has called about 6 times in a 10 hour window.

I received three (3) calls last night with the last one at 1:20 Am.
The calls started again today at 8:15 Am and I have received four (4) already and it's only 11 Am.
I am now on hold with VERIZON to see what they have to say.
maybe there are others calling to complain now as I am.
VERIZON is calling this number to see what the message says, and verified.
VERIZON is putting this number on a Temp block for me for FREE, but only for 90 days.
Verizon also said it could take 24 hours for this block to begin.
I was also told I could go to the Do Not Call web site and add the number.
It's the one from the Gov. donotcall.gov
The one we are to use to block those pesty telemarketers.

We started receiving calls from this number 2 days ago, and we have an unlisted number and are on the do not call list. The first day they called about 3 or 4 times, the last call at around 11:00 p.m. We received 13 calls yesterday all about an hour apart. We finally took the phone off the hook. We tracked the company and it is a Verizon cell phone from California -- but probably a telemarketer. We are investigating further and are reporting it to the Attorney General's office.

I've been receiving phone calls from this number several times a day for the past week. Last night they called at 11:00 pm!! That's way too late for anyone anonymous to be calling my house. There is never a voice mail left. This is getting annoying!

This number called me 2 times today and has also called a number of times in the past. I don't know who is calling and I wish they would stop!!!

We started receiving the calls a few days AFTER I had a few choice words with a collection agency. They had been calling us looking for the person who formerly had the phone number we now have. I was definately less than civil with them after they had been repeatedly calling after we had informed them the person they were seeking no longer had this number.

Then, the next day, the phone calls from 310-429-5382 stated arriving at our house on a regular basis. They seem to be computer generated, based on the timing. We no longer answer when we see the number on caller ID.

Anyone else have dealings with a collection agency around the time the calls started?

Two days in a row I have gotten a call from this phone number. I think it might be a telemarketer that I ticked off a couple of days ago. I told him that I was on the DNC list. He got pxxxed and said that I would get a call from him everyday.

This number has called me 41 times during a 7 day period at all times of the day including past midnight at night. So far no calls today. I was not here to get the calls when they happened but found all on my caller id.

This number had called me about 4 times today and when i do answer, it has an disingaged sound. I've tried calling back but the number is not in service. Go figure! I would love for them to STOP CALLING!!!
